Dr. Groves received PhDs in Biochemistry, Divinity and Psychology as well having specialised interests in the fields of Natural Medicine (diploma all Naturopathy), Chemistry, Marine Biology, Egyptology, Comparative Religion and Botany.

He taught for over 40 years in universities, natural therapy colleges, and privately for his own groups of people. The foundation of his teaching whatever the topic was always to guide people into the abundance of life, creative expression of life’s potentials as well as developing greater knowledge and understanding of the world in which we live.

These higher goals where explored by the use of practical application and real methodology founded in science, history, botany, Esoteric Christianity, Sufism and the works of Gurdjieff and Swedenborg. Dr Groves taught in a relaxed manner demonstrating at all times his love for the world and the work; a search for truth, wisdom, love and good, maintaining these aspects of life must become part of one’s understanding and fill our everyday life.

Dr Groves taught with great conviction, a wonderful sense of humour and a lightness of being which ruled out any force or compulsion in his teaching.

These talks, read by Philip W. Groves, are part of a body of work which he presented in weekly lectures over many decades. They were originally recorded in the 1990’s, and have been digitally remastered since his death in 1999.

They will be available in double CD sets from December 2008 onwards, and will appeal to those interested in spiritual and personal development which is woven together with the workings of the natural world – plant and human biology, mysticism, ancient cultures, and psychology.

As with all the work of Philip W. Groves the influence of the Fourth Way and Emanuel Swedenborg are well apparent, and add to the richness and diversity of this unique material.
